Hello and Welcome to HomeTown Venue. I am Dez Whitten, Owner and Manager of the venue. Helping people plan those special memorable events has long been a passion of mine and I am so excited to be living out this dream alongside my husband Aaron. HomeTown Venue is a great space for corporate parties, meetings, a baby shower, wedding showers, small intimate weddings, wedding receptions, reunions, or graduation celebrations. The possibilities are endless.
The History of our building
The building was built in the early 1900’s as McAllister’s grocery and hardware store in the town of Gravett (yes, Gravette started out as Gravett). In 1992, the building was donated to Young Life who used the building for youth meetings for many years. At one time, the building was a gym, used by the Gravette Chamber of Commerce, and is now a place where families and friends will make memories of a lifetime. My husband Aaron and I spent many days and nights making our vision a reality. We loved the idea of keeping the original tin ceiling in the building with a vintage feel and modern accommodations.
